Northern Jaguar Project brings together stakeholders throughout the U.S.–México borderlands area by acts of friendship, education, economic development, and our dedication to wildlife conservation, having already established linkages between government agencies, citizen groups, universities, and ranchers on both sides of the international border.

We work in close partnership with Naturalia, A.C., one of the most respected conservation organizations in México, and in in coalition with Defenders of Wildlife, the Jaguar Conservation Team, SEMARNAT, the Bordercats Working Group, the Sonoran Desert Conservation Plan Steering Committee, the Malpai Borderlands Group, Cuenca los Ojos Foundation, The Nature Conservancy, Friends of the Jaguar, the Wildlife Conservation Society, Borderlands Jaguar Detection Project, Sky Island Alliance, and the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix.

Researchers and scientists involved with the Project are affiliated with the University of Sonora, University of Queretaro, The University of Arizona, University of New Mexico, Texas Christian University, University of Illinois, New Mexico State University, and the Botanical Research Institute of Texas.
